'Zilla and ...We were there about the same time. 'Zilla and I were there Monday the 17th. We drove into Savage River and returned. We had some good weather. I also got photos of the Denali Sign with NO other visitors. IF you want a photo or two of just-the-signs, let me know. Patti and I were there also earlier and had the same experience. A large group of about 7 or 8 just would not stop taking selfies so we finally just drove on. On September 7th 1992 I was camped in a small tent at Wonder Lake and we had something like 6 or 7-inches of snow overnight. I felt lucky to get out of there on the bus. Smiles ..
