Chobe National Park in Botswana is not fenced, but its boundaries enclose 4,517 sq miles. Kruger National Park in South Africa, 7,523 sq miles, is fenced. The animals are used to the safari vehicles. Visitors are NOT allowed to get out of the vehicles.

All the animals are wild. The Wild Dogs are true wild animals, not feral, that is, domesticated dogs gone wild. They will not approach you.

Sylvester the cheetah was orphaned and raised privately then donated as an ambassador. The elephants I touched and rode are trained, but still considered wild animals.Gulliblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01757448241656853571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5029159028015312900.post-40089968661283741062014-02-11T03:53:06.327-09:002014-02-11T03:53:06.327-09:00I've really been enjoying this series, what a ...I've really been enjoying this series, what a beautiful place and how awesome it must be to see all these animals in their habitat. It seems to me that the animals appear to be 'used-to' people to some degree .. is this correct? Or are some of them truly wild and some of them quite tame since you have photos of actually touching some of them. I assume the feral Wild Dogs do NOT come up to you or do they? What a trip you are experiencing. Smiles .. Cap and Patti and 'Zilla and Gordy 48025 .. Caphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13365904390796791255noreply@blogger.com
