I don't often comment, because you don't know me, but I just wanted to let you know that I have a deep and abiding appreciation for people who have a deep and abiding appreciation for where life is taking them, especially in Alaska. I have just recently relocated to WA, after having spent only 2 short and magical years there, based in Anchorage. I had a job that provided an uncommon opportunity to travel and visit the whole state. I will commit to saying that the Kenai Peninsula beckoned the most often and the most powerfully. Above the Aleutians, the Southeast, the interior and tundra! I am homesick for Anchorage, too! And Alaska winter, which taught me a lot about testing my own mettle.
