Fascinating the calendar of events with the various species. Odd the black-backed jackel only took one 'treat'. I myself cooled on my opinion of eagles when Patti and I, down near Westchester Lagoon, watched an eagle take a flying sea gull right out of the air and fly off with the sea gull in spite of a circle of other sea gulls trying to protect their friend to no avail.<br /><br />The most interesting part of this post (at least for me) was at the end when you clearly showed, in two photos, the exterior view of the 'hide' and how far away the perch-branch for the birds is. You MUST have those long lenses! Air conditioning no less for the 'hide'. Another in a never ending series of phenomenal posts.
