A bit of this and a bit of that

Violet-green swallow.


Chocolate lily.

Immersed in the heart of a yarrow blossom.

No idea what this tiny flower is but that's a spider's thread attached to it and several nearby plants.




Something to do at midnight in Alaska.



Or, you can spread your wings at midnight.


Baby robin.   Doesn't even have tail feathers yet.
I think this is a spotted sandpiper.   It's standing on a trumpeter swan's nest.

Northern shovelers.   There's a green-winged teal behind the hen.
