They might have considered it, though. I certainly would be less work than digging up a sandy clam.
That's the good news.
The bad news is that I gained five (!!!) pounds at Silver Salmon Creek Lodge. I hold Chef Justin and Baker Sam personally responsibly for that. Maybe they were trying to fatten me up for the bears.
In the meantime, I have a few thousand photos to download and edit....
And so far, this is my favorite photo. I think the coat on the young bear is stunning!
