It shrouds the mountains in gossamer, raining but not raining.
Sometimes these mountains of ours are bold and brash, in-your-face stunning.
Sometimes they are the epitome of serenity and repose
At times, their dimensions appear to have been layered by a cinematographer placing one transparency upon another.

Other times, they are gentle giants, soft against the horizon.
And on nights this this one, they sleep with soft duvets blanketing their feet.
