Twenty-eight hundred 35mm slides are carefully sorted and on the folding table in my loft. This is one of them, my former cat Kitter. Very original name, huh? But, like every cat everywhere, she answered to "Kit." She's been gone a long time, this sled dog trainer extraordinaire. More about that later.
