Magic Lantern Show, Winter

The sun at break of day appears,

to soften moving shadow-shapes,

resurrect the life on earth,

and warm the very souls of men.

And when the eventide is nigh,

by way of promise to return,

bestows a magic lantern show,

cast in shadow, cast in light.
