I Get Around

Over on the right side of this post in the sidebar is a link to Growing Up Anchorage, a blog for stories about growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, in the mid-1900s. 

My wonderful dog team with Mugsy and Bashful in lead.  My husband Ken and I are on the sled, with our friend Ramona with the team behind us.   The location is the famed Kennicott copper mine near McCarthy, Alaska.

One of my stories is featured there right now, in honor of  the world famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race that begins today--Saturday.
