Puff Balls

 I am still deep into organizing tens of thousand of photos and came across some bird photos that show how they handle cold weather.   I call them puff balls when they look like this:














By puffing out their feathers, the birds trap warm air against their bodies and stay warm in cold weather.

  2. Yes indeed it is amazing how the creatures out in the wild survive the elements. We see the ducks up here swimming around in the water surrounded by ice. How exactly do you organize your photos. I need a hint or two or three. Smiles Cap and Hugs from Patti

  4. Patti did NOT recognize a Chickadee. I was amazed. So now she does. Very pretty birds and we have a fair number of them visiting our porch. Smiles and Hugs .. Cap and Patti
