Jury Duty
I received a jury duty notice a few weeks ago. I promptly filled out the information sheet and returned it, expecting a permanent exemption. While I would have liked to serve, I have three disqualifiers, according to the sheet.:
A) I am over age 70;
B) I live outside the boundaries; and,
C) I have a significant hearing loss.
This week I received a card notifying me that I am temporarily excused
from jury duty through the end of this year. From this I can surmise
that the court believes:
A) I will grow younger;
B) I will move closer; and
C) I will experience a hearing recovery miracle.
Nice to know all of that.

Ain't it the truth. What more would you expect from the government? And they are supposed to be well educated. Maybe they know something we don't.
ReplyDeleteMind-boggling, isn't it!!!!!!!!!!! I love your take on your response from jury court.
