The Germany Journals, Intermission

I'm leaving Frankfurt in the morning, heading to San Francisco and then on to Alaska.  This trip has been a blast and over too quickly.

It will take me three travel days to get home, so it will most likely be a while before I will around here.  Lots of stories to tell, like the day I was hanging around with a bunch of studs.

In the meantime, feast on these images and wait for the tales to come.

All the people we met were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

This is a gasthaus where we stayed in Salzburg (I think).  It was wonderful.

The next morning before we left, I walked out back to the fields to take a picture of the Alps.

And this sweet cow came running out of the barn to see me.

Keep checking.  I'll be back here as soon as possible.  Our days and evenings have been full, and internet service has been spotty.  It's either not available or exorbitantly expensive.  Or I haven't had time.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

  3. Your three days of travel will be a story to tell on their own, I betcha. I hope your experiences are more funny than unpleasant.

I'll be here when you blog again.

  4. Gorgeous photos. Is that horse a lipizaner? Sadie is getting pretty good at knowing her horses.

Can't wait to hear more of this trip. Irene
