Let's Play Hide and Seek

Can you see my newspaper?  I couldn't until the third time I searched,

The edge of my driveway is on the left in this photo.  The yellow thing is a tube in which the newspaper is supposed to be left for me.  In a perfect world that is.  I would need snowshoes to get the paper today.  Thirty feet from the driveway, fifteen feet from the highway, and probably four feet of snow.

I reported it as a missed delivery.  Why should "home delivery" involve a treasure hunt?

Did you find the paper?  Look again:

See it yet?  Okay, look right of the spruce trees, right of the cottonwood brush.

And no, when I'm standing near the newspaper tube I cannot see over the snow banks.

  1. I admire your determination! I hope the paper was worth your efforts.

    Keep warm, my friend.

  2. I didn't go after it, Shaddy. I reported it as missed delivery. I've been tolerating this kind of service for many years, but no more.
